Does greater accountability improve the quality of delivery of public services? : evidence from Uganda

Abstract: A study from Uganda shows that improved accountability will be important to reduce the incidence of corruption and improve delivery of public services. at the local, national, regional and global level. Local governments and their associations must be strengthened to play their developmental role.
