Green and black gold in rural Cameroon : natural resources for local governance, justice and sustainability

Abstract: This study investigates the effects of forest management decentralization and oil compensation on local governance and local democracy in southern Cameroon. It suggests indicators and dynamics to be taken into account when assessing local governance.
