Learning democracy by doing : alternative practices in citizenship learning and participatory democracy

Abstract: The Learning Democracy by Doing conference brought together 250 researchers and practitioners from all over the world. In 76 papers, different settings for learning were dealt with, including schools, higher education, political parties, local communities, and local and provincial governance.
