Decentralization of agricultural extension : new way to improve rural development in third world

Abstract: A review of past experiences with the decentralization and privatization of agricultural extension services is presented with special reference to the situation in Pakistan. Conditions for decentralization to deliver include giving users control over program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
