Gender and fragile citizenship in Uganda : the case of Acholi women

Abstract: The intersection between gender, conflict (due to the Lord’s Resistance Army) and citizenship is examined, using the case of the Acholi region in Uganda. Using gender and citizenship as point of reference in discussions would be a start to help women participate equally in a post-conflict society.
