2014 State of Participatory Democracy Report

2006 India Megaphone

Thank you to all who attended the two report launches held this year! The Hunger Project, in partnership with the UN Democracy Fund (UNDEF), hosted the official launch during UNGA69 at St. Bart’s in New York City and a Washington, DC launch at InterAction on Friday, December 12th. Fruitful discussion and engagement was had by all on the new ranking of 52 countries’ legal frameworks and degrees of implementation of five key dimensions: active citizenry, political decentralization, administrative decentralization, fiscal decentralization and multi-stakeholder planning. We look forward to further discussions about our findings and hope to continue this effort as part of our Post2015 Agenda.
