The role of local government in adjusting to population change in Thailand over the next decade

Abstract: By the year 2025, Thailand will have more elderly people than children. Local governments in rural areas will need to adapt. Regarding children the quality of education will need to improve. As for the elderly there is a need for allowances, health care, and income opportunities.
